Born on 15th May in Salzburg, grew up in Darmstadt from primary school age onwards

Abitur (German university entrance qualification), studied architecture (1 semester) at Darmstadt Technical University

Military service as a dispatch rider, prisoner of war

Continued study of architecture (1 semester) and assistant for freehand drawing to Professor Geibel at Darmstadt Technical University
